Whiplash
A whiplash injury generally refers to a sudden jolt of the neck in one direction and immediately another in the opposite direction, similar to cracking a whip. This is often seen in victims of motor vehicle accidents and contact sports.
How CHIROPRACTIC can help?
The Chiropractor will examine the spine as a whole even if the patient specified pain in the neck resulting from an external trauma. Through that, the chiropractor would spot any areas of restricted joint motion, intervertebral disc injury, muscle spasm, and ligament injury by feeling for tenderness, tightness, and how well your spinal joints move. The chiropractor would also examine your walk to identify any spinal misalignment.
After the diagnosis, the doctor might employ treatments such as spinal manipulations, therapeutic massages, electrical stimulation and/or manual stretching exercises. Every Whiplash is different.
